Music Near Me ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Music Near Me mobile application (the "App"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our App.
Information We Collect
Account information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, password, and profile photo (if provided). Passwords are stored only in encrypted (hashed) form — we never store them in plain text.
Location data: With your permission, we collect your device location to show nearby venues, events, and artists. Location is used while the app is in use: it is sent to our servers to return nearby results and to your device's map provider to display maps. We do not keep a history of your location.
User-generated content: Artist and band profiles, events, photos you upload, event check-ins, friend connections, and jam circle activity you create or interact with.
Push notification token: If you enable notifications, we collect a push notification token so we can deliver alerts to your device. You can turn this off at any time in your device settings.
Device data: Basic device information (model, OS version, app version) for diagnostics and to keep the App working correctly.

Account deletion removes your profile, posts, and personal data within 30 days. Some non-personal aggregate data may be retained for analytics.
