You can request deletion of your Music Near Me account and associated data at any time. Two ways to do this:
Option 1: Delete from the App
Open the Music Near Me app
Tap the Profile tab
Tap Settings (gear icon)
Tap Account
Tap Delete Account
Confirm
Option 2: Email Request
If you no longer have access to the app, send an email to support@musicnearme.app from the email address associated with your account, with the subject "Account Deletion Request." We will process the request within 7 days and confirm by email.
What Gets Deleted
Your profile (name, email, photo, bio)
Your posts, comments, and check-ins
Your follows, friendships, and jam circle memberships
Your authentication records (Google / Apple sign-in associations)
What May Be Retained
Aggregate, anonymized analytics that cannot be traced back to you
Records we are legally required to retain (such as tax or fraud-prevention records, if applicable)
Content posted by other users that mentions or interacts with you may remain, but will no longer be linked to a profile
Timeline
Account deletion requests are completed within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email when your data has been removed.
